Service Purchase Orders


Date Release: September 5th, 2023

Purpose

  • This feature allows for users to Process Purchase Orders for Services without having to wait until the month-end is closed.

How to Set-up

  1. On the navigation bar click the Manage tab.

  2. On the Manage navigation bar, click the Types tab

  3. If an Inventory Type for Services is not available, create a new Type called Services or your preferred name.

  4. On the Type Edit, click the “Is Service” button and click the update button to save.

  5. Add required Sub-types

  6. Once completed, close the Management Panel

  7. Verify all Inventory Items that are Services are now tied to the Service Type.

How it Works

  • Once a Purchase Order is created with items which are tied to the Services type, on the Purchase Order edit page on the Stauts card it should display “Yes” next to the Service title.

  • Once a Purchase Order is created with items which are tied to the Services type, on the Purchase Order edit page the user should see the “Receive Order” button even if the previous month is not closed and the user would have the ability to receive the Purchase Order.
